Mintchan
Mintchan (sometimes stylized as Mint-Chan) is a character who has blue hair and a blue shirt. They're created by u/MikiMatzuki. Mint has garnered a large following and has her own subreddit. Her subreddit's name, r/MintChanFandom, was inspired by a snafu by u/SpewsGG69, where a fictionus user by the name "JohnGooner5000" posts "I crave the fragrance of her hair folicules" on the sub. On this snafu, MikiMatzuki also confirms in the comments that her hair smells like mint
History
They first appeared in https://www.reddit.com/r/coaxedintoasnafu/comments/1d284v2/cant_comprehend_a_color_between_blue_and_green/ . She was later updated to be a tad bit more blue.
On october 4th, 2025, Mintchan was made exclusive to meta weekends as a part of rule 10 by u/ledukek.
On october 16th, 2025, MikiMatzuki announced a web comic based on Mintchan titled Mint-Chan's Adventures in Colorland. It is planned to launch on November 16th on Webtoon.
